Production Time/Holiday Deadlines

Current production time is approximately 6-7 business days UNTIL YOUR ORDER SHIPS. Priority shipping is available for faster shipping only. RUSH service may be available for faster production/shipping for $18 per order, please contact me for details before you order to make sure I can meet your deadline.  Especially during holiday rushes, I cannot guarantee this service if you do not contact me first. 

 

How can I pay?

We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.

Is your site secure?

Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your stuff. We get your money through PayPal later.

 

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?

No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.

 

Why buy from Designs by Dawn Renee?

It's simple...quality jewelry and great customer service. Our goal is to treat our customers how we like to be treated.  Please note that most shops will use a 24 gauge metal for their pieces.  For most of my pieces I use a 20 gauge metal.  And of course on special pieces that are stamped on both sides I usually do 16 or 18 gauge thickness.

 

Do you use a machine? Will my piece be perfect?

No, we do not use a machine.  We use steel hardened stamps and stamp every single letter by hand one at a time. Because of the nature of hand stamping on metal, each piece is unique. You may find that letters and numbers are not perfectly straight and spacing may vary. This adds to the charm of your custom and unique handcrafted piece.

 

What are the font choices and finishes?

Does your jewelry tarnish?

Sterling silver, copper and even gold-filled will tarnish after being worn or stored for a while.  This process can quicken depending on your climate, the PH in your skin and how you store your jewelry.  I include a small care card along with a small polish pad in all of my orders to remove this tarnish (although some prefer it especially with copper and some of my "rustic" pieces are not really made for a heavy polishing). Tarnish is not a defect of your jewelry, it is a natural chemical reaction. You can also store your jewelry in an air tight baggie when not wearing and I recommend not wearing in the shower or pool.

 

Do you offer a repair or polishing service?

Yes. Each order includes ONE FREE polishing within the first year of your purchase. You can send back to me and pay for shipping only. If your piece needs a repair or you have lost a charm, please CONTACT US.

 

How will my order be shipped?

We use USPS and tracking to ship all orders unless you request otherwise. Priority shipping is available for a small upgrade fee. You will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number when your order ships. International orders can take anywhere from 2 - 8 weeks depending on customs.  We are not responsible for lost packages. If you are concerned, please make sure to purchase insurance (just drop an email afterwards and we will invoice you for the difference). 

 

Does my order include complimentary gift wrapping?

Each piece is gift wrapped in a small box and is ready for gift giving.  If you would like your order shipped directly to gift recipient with a gift note, please specify when you check out. This is complimentary.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

Please note the current production time at the top of this page, if it is within that window please minimize the status requests on your order. We receive many emails a day and the time it takes to respond to questions answered in this document takes us away from the studio where we can be completing your pieces.  If you have a question or concern about your order that is not answered here, please CONTACT US.

 

What is your refund/exchange policy?

Please note that there are no refunds or exchanges on custom pieces unless we have made an error on your order. We are very careful to inspect the quality of every piece and would not ship something out the door that we would not be proud to wear ourselves.
